Welcome to the website for the Frank Hornberg chapter of Trout Unlimited.

Our chapter range includes Portage, Waupaca, and Wood counties in Wisconsin. Our board meetings are on the first Thursday of each month, in the Community Room at SentryWorld, in Stevens Point. General members are more than welcome to join us for our board meetings, and additional events (general meetings, guest speakers, work days, etc…) are added to our event calendar as soon as they are scheduled.

Please watch our upcoming event calendar for meeting times and locations.

We look forward to meeting you!

Fly Fishing School 2012-62

Fly Fishing School recap

Our annual fly fishing school went off without a hitch!

We were lucky to have a full class of eager learners (of all ages!) and fabulous weather.

We served delicious food, prepared by the Pecks…  …and Abe Downs of Blackwater Fly Fishing taught casting class.

We finished off the class with a session on reading the water.

After class wrapped up, we split into groups, went to dinner, then chased some fish until dark.

Special thanks to Ken Pierce for opening his home, his yard, and his perfect little slice of the Tomorrow River to us for the class.

Missed our class this year? Stay tuned for information about our 2016 Fly Fishing School.
